Deborah Barone Biography
I began teaching Acting in 1986 at the Performers Studio Workshop.
I worked in both Tampa and Orlando For Kathy Laughlin. It was at the PSW that I got the opportunity to meet and work with Eric Morris. I took every opportunity to study and work with Eric, he would call and tell me that he was doing a workshop in NYC So I would make arrangements to go NY and take classes. I also was invited to go to L.A. and took classes there.
When ever I took classes he would always use me to get up and show students how to do an exercise if they weren’t quite where he wanted them. Eric Morris has a web site, and he lists all approved teachers of his craft.
I have taught classes in Tampa, Orlando, Miami, & NYC. Teaching the craft of acting gives me great joy, watching students grow and grasp the concepts of learning a craft. As we know to learn a craft is a lifetime journey of discovery.
I also try to stay on top of updated material & new material as to stay valid and up to date. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild & Aftra.
I also studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts NYC summer of 1989
