Acting Up! Jr. (K-4th)
Acting Up! Jr. is an exciting, interactive class that is perfect for our littlest thespians, with or without experience! Students will learn the art of stage character & development, movement, voice projection, basic props, and a simple set. This group helps students find self-confidence and develop public speaking skills. Acting Up! Jr. encourages students to explore their curiosity and creativity. At the end of the program, students will showcase their new abilities on the stage.

Fall 2026: Annie Jr.
Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

| Auditions |
Please be sure to register and submit your audition. Auditioning does not automatically enroll you in the show. Please plan to attend class even before roles are assigned. We’ll be learning music, choreography, and other elements of the production throughout the process, so every class is a valuable opportunity to learn, participate, and prepare for the show. Auditions are due: August 29, 2026 by 9pm Auditions are a video recording of you singing a one-minute song of your choice. Please slate: state your name, age, roles interested in, and what song you are singing. Complete an audition form and upload in the Dropbox as well. Payment and Refund Policy
All monies paid toward Florida Academy of Performing Arts programs are non-refundable. If special circumstances force a student to drop out before the end of the program, the program fee will be pro-rated and the balance will be held as credit on your account to be used for merchandise or other programs.

Anti-Bullying Policy
FAOPA has instituted policies and procedures to combat bullying and bullying behavior, which may include but not be limited to name calling, harassment of another student causing physical or verbal harm, and any negative behavior that is repetitive and intentional. While FAOPA will not tolerate bullying of any kind, all incidents will be evaluated individually to determine a resolution. If any incident warrants the removal of the child from the program, we will not issue a refund and special consideration will need to be made to allow the child to participate in future FAOPA programs.
