Acting Up! Jr. (K-2nd/3rd)

Acting Up! Jr. is an exciting, interactive class that is perfect for our littlest thespians, with or without experience! Students will learn the art of stage character & development, movement, voice projection, basic props, and a simple set. This group helps students find self-confidence and develop public speaking skills. Acting Up! Jr. encourages students to explore their curiosity and creativity. At the end of the program, students will showcase their new abilities on the stage.

Pure Imagination – An Acting Up Jr. Extension –

Summer 2024 Production – Rising Kindergartners – Rising 4th Grade

Pure Imagination is a brand-new revue featuring songs from across MTI’s Broadway Junior® collection. From Broadway Junior musicals based on adored titles like Seussical and Shrek The Musical to Disney favorites like Beauty and the Beast and Frozen, Pure Imagination offers a fun introduction to musical revues for young performers who are new to musical theatre

Payment and Refund Policy

All monies paid toward Florida Academy of Performing Arts programs are non-refundable. If special circumstances force a student to drop out before the end of the program, the program fee will be pro-rated and the balance will be held as credit on your account to be used for merchandise or other programs. Classes canceled by an instructor will be rescheduled (usually by adding a week to the program).

Social Media Release Policy
By registering myself and/or my student(s) as a participant in FAOPA productions, I agree that my child/ren and/or I may be interviewed, photographed or videotaped during rehearsals or performances and that these interviews, videos, or photographs may be used in promotional materials or social media or on the website for public release.
Anti-Bullying Policy

FAOPA has instituted policies and procedures to combat bullying and bullying behavior, which may include but not be limited to name calling, harassment of another student causing physical or verbal harm, and any negative behavior that is repetitive and intentional. While FAOPA will not tolerate bullying of any kind, all incidents will be evaluated individually to determine a resolution. If any incident warrants the removal of the child from the program, we will not issue a refund and special consideration will need to be made to allow the child to participate in future FAOPA programs.
